Semi clogged sink?

My bathroom sink is semi clogged (the water drains slowly but it does drain).





I poured down some liquid plumber but, unfortunately, it seems to just drain through the small hole that the water does and it doesn't remove anything, unless I did it wrong?





It is my apartment's bathroom sink that is doing it and has been for a few weeks - are there any tricks without getting too technical?

get some castic soda, it usually does the trick for me, poor some on top of the drain and flush some boiling water trough it, watch it cause it might splatter so be carefull .


if that won't work, try to see if you can get underneath the sink and unscrew the drain pipe and get some stuff out that is causing it to clog up.

Reply:Try a plunger...then get professional strength drain cleaner at your local home depot or lowes...follow the directions %26amp; it should clear up your problem.
Reply:Pour a cup of Clorox down the drain tonight, and flush out with hot water in the morning!
