Ear clogged?

ive had a cold for the past couple of days and my left ear has become clogged. I have a hard time clearly hearing myself talk tho i can hear fine wen others talk. can this be because of a wax buildup or an effect of my cold? wut can i do to fix this?

I had this problem the other day. I mixed water and Hydrogen Proxide together, dropped a little in my ear, let it bubble for about 5 minutes while lying on your side. Do the same with each ear. Then put alcohol or swimmers ear in after so it absorbs the water. Even if you use HP by itself still use the alcohol or swimmers ear. The ear wax removal kit would work to.
Reply:put rubbing alcohol on a q tip and put it through your ear whatevers in there will go away
Reply:put peroxide in your clogged ear and let it bubble for a minute. but make sure you don't leave it in there for a long time because it can cause you to feel dizzy and sick.

Reply:I have a cold as well, and it could be that or like you said, wax buildup. Either do this, go to the store and get Murine Wax Removal kit or you can try using hydrogen peroxide and a warm water flush. Pour the hp in your bad ear and lay down for about 20 minutes to let it work. Then go into the bathroom and if you have a bulb syringe, use WARM water, turn that ear down to the bowl and squeeze the bulb to force the warm water into the canal. If that doesn't get it out, then you need to go to the Dr. because it could be a sinus infection or an ear infection. Which is a possibility if the cold has lasted a long time. I personally like the hp and warm water. Cheaper and works better.
