Preventing clogging of the heart?

how do you prevent the clogging of the heart? and what exercises strengthens the heart?

Preventing clogging of the heart?
Cardiovascular exercise, diet free of red meat, lots of vegetables, good vitamins, and a visit to your doctor for a plan. Demand a plan. The way you know your heart is getting exercise is your heart beat and breathing.Talk to your doctor about what you should strive for when you exercise. The numbers depend on age and health. Walking is the best way to start.
Reply:Garlic roasted in olive oil, smothered in a toast.

Aspirin (blood thinner). Consult your doctor first though.

Exercises: Mostly Cardio (heart).

Walking medium to fast pace (not the mall shopping pace).

Dancing, Swimming/Snorkeling, Cycling, Gardening, Mowing, Rowing, Canoeing/Kayaking. These are all outdoor type of cardio exercises, except dancing. And guarantee you'll love this style. NO fancy fitness center and expensive sets of equipments here.
Reply:Diet, exercise, aspirin and plavex every day.

Reply:You should ask your cardiologist about these questions. It is different for every individual with heart problems because heart problems vary so widely.
Reply:Trans fats have been known to cause cloggin of the arteries.

To prevent this condition, eat food that contain no trans-fatty

acids...a variety of fried foods contain trans fatty acids.

Use Olive Oil, which contains the good cholesterol.

Exercise and a diet rich in green vegetables and grains may help.

There are genetic pre-disposition to some form of arteriosclerosis,

so if its in your family, you may have a tendency to build

cholesterol even when you might be doing all the right things...

Have a blood test periodically to check for this and monitor.

That's my opinion.
Reply:maybe drink a glass of red wine everyday..
Reply:I don't even know why someone told you Plavix, that is a very powerful drug reserved for heart attack patients and stroke patients only, so please disregard! If you want to avoid a clot try and lower your cholesterol by eating oatmeal for breakfast and if you don't like oatmeal then cheerios. This will drop your cholesterol about 10 to 20 points. Stop eating fatty meats and cheeses, switch to chicken and fish that you grill or bake, no more deep frying. Eat veggies frozen or raw. Start walking if you can. the more you walk the better your heart will get, as you get into better shape, increase your pace and distance. Start taking a low dose baby aspirin once a day and drink lots of water. Try and lose some weight, the steps I gave you above about nutrition, fluid intake and exercise will help you lose weight. Finally after doing this for about three months and losing 20 or more pounds, make an appointment to see your doctor, have him/her check your total cholesterol, HDL (good cholesterol) and your triglycerides (fats) in your blood. If your blood is still not right he will put you on a medicine like Zocor a generic cholesterol lowering drug (costs less than $10 at walmart) unless you have good insurance then he'll give you Lipitor. Hopefully 3 months of lifestyle changes will prevent use of drugs and change your lifestyle. Good luck.
Reply:I assume that you mean how do you discourage narrowing of the arteries of the heart and if you have no family history of heart disease, no personal health problems, a normal blood pressure, normal lipids (triglycerides and cholesterol), exercise regularly, and remain lean (thin) you have done all that is possible and the rest is up to God. The heart is a muscle and in a sense it may be strengthened although I do not usually phrase it that way - any aerobic exercise is good for the heart but even simple normal walking 20 minutes a day works.
Reply:hi,

this is quite a complex questions. You can adopt diet with less fat and sugar, a lifestyle with daily aerobic exercise and use Terminalia arjuna herb.
