Toilet clogged?

I havent got clogged in my toilet pipe but the problem is somewhat similar. When i flugh the toilet, the lumps of waste doesnt go thorugh in one go. I have to flugh it 3-4 times or might have to use toilet brush to send them through the hole. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Toilet clogged?
ERRRRRR there’s yer problem (scratch massive exposed stomach with left hand!! LOL), it’s me U bend like!!

Last time that happened had me bare hand down the cra**er and had to fish out nearly a whole bog roll and the ‘floaters’ to go with it.

‘Poor man’ was the only sympathy I got from my wife

sorry i didn't read your question:

Probably not enough water in the system, its probably not filing up properly to flush away every thing in one go without filling back up. You could also be using too much bog roll!!

REPORT ABUSE ON THOSE RUDE SOBZ. I KNOW YOUR/ THERE TRYING TO BE FUNNY BUT AT THE EXPENSE OF THET MANS FAMILY AND ITS TO DO WITH HIS CRA**ER FOR GODS SAKE!
Reply:CHECK YOU HAVE ENOUGH WATER IN THE TOP TO FULLY FLUSH,how long has this been happening, try to think what youve been eating, remember what goes in must come OUT !!try to stick to good diet, and moniter what you eat then closely watch what comes out,not nice i know, but i allways check what comes out, nothing wrong with that,i do find brown bread, and plenty of fruit and veg, makes things go straight to the bottom of the pan !! HOPE THIS HELPS
Reply:sounds like a poorly designed toilet, try holding handle down thru intire flush and see if that helps. Only other option is to replace the toilet. I recommend Toto ( any) or the Kohler cimmeron toilet. The cimmeron is available @ home depot and is a close copy of Toto Drake
Reply:Put a bag of caustic soda crystals in then pour hot water in.Stand back because it spits like hell and is quite corrosive.
Reply:Adjust the water level in the toilet cistern by adjusting the ball valve. There should be a water level mark on the back of the cistern inside.
Reply:if you have a septic tank, make sure that it doesn't need to be pumped out.
Reply:Make sure the tank is filling up to the proper level. If it is, then the pipes are getting plugged. someone above mentioned caustic crystals, I hope that works for you, just be careful when you do it. good luck
Reply:I can think of two possible reasons that might happen, either the cistern is not filling to a high enough level (either because it is broken or because it is poorly designed(e.g. too small))

or because there is some debris (for want of a better word) which is slowing things down getting through the pipe.
Reply:Do this test. Fill a bucket with about 3 gallons of water. Pour it into the bowl quickly. If it goes down without any sign of backing up, the problem is the amount of water going from the tank to the bowl and not a clog. Remove the tank lid and check the water level. It should be 3/4" below the overflow tube. Flush the toilet and watch the flapper at the bottom of the tank. If it closes before almost all the water is gone from the tank, adjust the chain/strap that lifts it. Make it so there is "just" enough slack to allow the flapper to seal. Check the holes under the rim with a mirror. If clogged, clear out with a metal coat hanger. You could also turn off the water supply valve and flush. Then pour a couple cups of vinegar down the hole under the flapper and let it set a couple hours. This will help remove deposits from the holes.
Reply:Perhaps you need some extra iron in your diet to weight these floaters down.
Reply:use a stick to break their backs
Reply:Olive oil. It'll make your poo more runny.
