Is it possible for in the slab heat/air ductwork to get clogged to the point where airflow is not possible? If so, what is the likely cause of the clog?

The heat duct may be crushed under the weight of the concrete. I have seen where sub par materials have been used in this application and the ductwork crushed whild pouring the concrete. Aside from using an inspection camera to see, you won't be able to tell what is the cause. Good luck.
Reply:It is very unlikely a residential home duct will clog up. If you have central A/C check the coil in the furnace. That is what usualy cloges up
