My ears get clogged all the time for no apearant reason and when I go underwateer they bother me all day. The swimmers ear stuff onyl makes it worse, it burns! Sometimes it happens even without taking a shower or going near water. I often can't pop my ears, What can I do?
P.S
My right ear is clogged really bad right now.
My ears are always clogged...?
I have that same problem with my right ear. For some reason ,it does not drain properly. So, about every three years my doctor uses a powerful thrust of warm water to flush the wax build up out. It doesn't hurt a bit and takes about five minutes.
Reply:Need a check up from your doc. You may have cerum (ear wax) that needs to be removed. He/she can prescribe you drops to liquify the wax. You should go to an ENT specialist if your primary doc cant help. No q tips until the doc looks in there. You also can have a skin problem that predisposes you to these symptoms. Hope this helps........
Reply:You probably need to have them cleaned out. You should see an Ear, Nose, %26amp; Throat specialist, but a regular physician can do this as well. Meanwhile, try using a product like Debrox to clean some of the ear wax out.
Reply:Try a health store. See if they have an "Ear Candle".
That might work for you..it did for me.
Its just a thing you put in your ear, and light one one end.
It slowly burns down..and it gets all the wax and stuff out.
It sounds like it would hurt or something,
but it dosnt.
Or, try a doctor.
Good luck.
Reply:It sound to me like you have excessive wax buildup. The best way to get rid of it is to go to the doctor and have them flush your ears. There are also kits in stores like walmart so you can flush them yourself, but I wouldn't recommend it. There are also ear drops that you can buy that remove wax. They feel really strange and take several days to work, but they do wonders. Best of Luck
Reply:It could be the following:
1. too much wax
2. swimmers ear
3. allergies...I have allergies and whenever they are acting up, my ears clog up. You can use claritin over the counter and it works well!
Reply:too much wax.Use drops
Reply:May be you should talk to a Dr. Maybe you have an unusual build up of wax and need them irrigated.
Reply:Try some ear candles. It sounds weird, but they really work.
