Does Tanning clog your pores?

Does it clog your pores when you have been tanning for a while and then stop? I have noticed a break out in my skin and noticed it after i was done tanning. Please let me know! Thanks!

Does Tanning clog your pores?
i agree with the above anser. tanning causes wrinkles though! isn't that just worse? wear sunblock and you'll be beautiful longer!
Reply:its probably a reaction to whatever lotion you are using.Your pores actually dilate in the heat..allowing the perspiration to flow out
Reply:Tanning itself does not clog pores, as the colour that you get is because you're burning your skin. The pores may clog if you use too much product or don't wash properly. The break out is because you're heating your skin and it gets swollen so the infections (the famous break outs) are easier to get, just like when you have a small cut or rash and it hurts a lot more if you get the sun on it.
Reply:Tanning can seriously dehydrate your skin, causing major breakouts, as well as that nice rough, 'leathery' look that most people get. It could also be the lotion that you're using as well, or a combination of both. It does not, however, clog your pores... but the lotion might be.

Tanning is a bit overrated, I know it can make you feel good for a short time, but in the long run it causes skin cancer and more problems. I would suggest investing in a great fake tanner product (like St. Tropez) or getting a mystic tan. These days... its just not worth it!
Reply:Tanning can cause ance.....does that answer your question?
