My ears feel clogged and i notice a ringing when im trying to sleep, it sounds like allergies. I dont have a runy nose or watering/itcy eyes so thats whats making me think i could may not be allergies... What could this be? What can i do to help the clogged feeling go away. I have already taken allergy meds but nothing seems to be helping that much.
I am experiencing clogged feeling ears and there is also ringing is this allergies?
No, sorry.........this does not sound like symptoms of "allergies" . Clogged and ringing ears sounds more like ear infection, or excessive wax build up. I once had dentist tell me it might even be dental related........(infection in general, in the mouth and head area......)
but defintely go have your ears looked at.
Doesn't sound like allergies. Trust me.

The symptoms that you describe resemble those of excessive wax in the ear(s). You would be advised to visit your health centre and have your ears examined. This will find or rule out this condition. There are various treatments for the removal of wax in the ears, olive oil, sodium bicarbonate solution etc, and syringing, which is normally the last resort when the other methods have not been successful.
Hope this helps

Hearing loss is one from the ear ringing causes. Around the age of 60 years old, some people may have hearing loss and this cause tinnitus. Head injury, brain injury, ear injury, and nerves or ear linking injury can cause ear ringing. Construction equipment, rock concert, loud music can cause ear ringing but only when it does not over a long period of time.
