Does vaseline clog pores?

i use vaseline nightly and i was wondering if it will clog my pores.

Vaseline is a bleached petroleum product, originally developed from the sludge that forms on an oil rig. Why use it at all? Clog your pores? Yep, and deposits chemical residues that will likely be absorbed into your body like a dermal patch on a nicotine freak.





Try this instead:


A few drops of light oil, such as sunflower, olive, hemp, jojoba will work pretty much everywhere.


For deeper moisturizer with heavy protection, use a bit of solid oil such as coconut, palm or shea butter. Best to prevent winter-dry lips.

Reply:I am sitting here looking at my bottle of Vaseline and on the label it says 100% non-comedogenic. On the label if it says that it will NOT clog your pores, then it definitely won't. Otherwise they'd have to change their label. If you want to know more about Vaseline you should watch the episode of Tyra Banks where she says it is her beauty secret and that she uses it for absolutely everything, lips, hand cream, moisturizer, etc.

Reply:No, it doesn't clog the pores. In fact quite a few people, also famous ones , use it, though for most find it too greasy to put on the face.
