I clogged the toilet. Please help!?

I threw noodle soup yesterday in the toilet. Believe me, I now know just how stupid that was. It got clogged right away when my roommate went to use the bathroom. Anyway, we got some of the stuff out, but not enough. The water trickles down, 5 bottles of Drano later, so there is no sitting water in the toilet, but it still does not work. Any suggestions as to what I can do? I live in an apartment, so I don't have a garden hose or anything like that.

Get a good plunger not that cheap brick colored one. The black one with the bell shape. Wear eye protection since you put Draino in there and start plunging. See, what happened is you forced the noodles (that expanded) further into the drain system. It will come out, you just need to do some good plunging. Should that not work fast enough for you get a toilet snake at work that carefully so as not to scratch the finish on the toilet and snake it.

Good luck and dont do that again. Lol

Reply:Don't you hate when that happeneds. If you were living in the same apartments I live in, then it would affect all the tenants. So my landlord is cheap too, but when it affects everyone they have no choice. I would have still asked the landlord first. It's their job.
Reply:Get a plunger.... or else you may have to actually remove the toilet and clean the drain.. you can also try to fish it out with a coat hanger or wire?? You may have to call a plumber if everything else fails...
Reply:try boiling water it will desolve the grease good luck!!
Reply:Call the landlord to fix it. Or, go to the nearest hardware store and rent a "snake", a cable type device with a variety of attachments on the tip, and run it through the sewer "cut out" (usually located outside). You'll need a drill typically to power the snake, or you can crank it manually.
Reply:Buy a long arm glove. and stick your hand in!!!
Reply:Plunger? Buy one for $2.00.
Reply:Buy a plunger probably around $5.00 but cheaper than a plumber.
