i have clogged pores on my nose and the area around it... and also a few right above my lips. no acne however... but the mere sight of these clogged pores are annoying. i can't help but squeeze them out sometimes, though i know it's bad!
i've researched upon tretinoin and retinoids but a few sites mentioned that there are generic brands available for purchase without needs of a prescription. however, they never mentioned the brands or the place i can find it... if there's anybody with info, please share with me! also, if there's an alternative to these drugs to help with my problem (and you tried it yourself, and not just randomly advicing -_- ) please share that with me too! thanks a bunch!
No acne but clogged pores?
I wonder if you are talking about black heads??
If you have black heads you don't need harsh chemicals - you need a strong beaded scrub - neutrogena 60 second mask from ulta or make one at home with fine oatmeal with cold water. apply and scrub - more at the problem areas.
just sugar worked awsome for me!!
a friend of mine used corn meal and it worked for her. basically it needs to be course but not course enough to bruise you.
and if your main problem is large pores you should use an astringent regularly - eg clean and clear available in all drugstore and reatil to keep closing ur pores. so more dirt cannout settle in.
Reply:I've tryed alot %26amp; Clean %26amp; Clear (daily pore cleanser) works great. It's the original one in the light blue/White bottle. All the ones that claim to be for black heads, %26amp; in the cuter containers %26amp; smell good, dont work, well for unclogging pores anyway.
It has mild little scruby things that wipe your skin clean,
like there is no dirt left on your face. It doesn't dry out your face, but I use they're acne lotion afterward.
You will be a clean boy
Reply:why don't you try a facial sauna?? that's a fast and easy way to do it without using chemicals... just add a little bit of lemon juice at the water... but just a little bit... like two drops.. after you finished the sauna, wash your face with cold water and clean your face as usual and. and you'll see the results...
Reply:try using a mask of whipped egg whites. let it dry and then rinse it off.
