I am having epson stylus color480 printer.it worked finely.but now it seems the print head nozzle is clogged and i am unable to clean it using the print head cleaning utility. After using one fullblack catridge for cleaning, the test print comes with missing segments both in black and color prints. Is there any method to clean the clogged print head nozzle apart from cleaning it using the cleaning utility. If it is, kindly inform me .
How to clean the clogged print head nozzles.?
Try this, if you a paint thinner or alcohol wet the tissue paper and then put the ink cartridge in the wet tissue paper the clogged ink is melted after 3 minute clean it with dry tissue

Reply:Because your printhead cannot be removed and cleaned, you'll need to work from the top of the printhead, where the ink sits in.
Remove your ink cartridges. Using a Q-tip, drop some Windex onto the "spikes" that pierce the bottom of your cartridge when you install it. The ink actually travels through a small opening at the base of the "spike", but when you drop the fluid onto it, it will dribble down to where it belongs. Replace your cartridges and let it sit for 10 minutes. Then try a cleaning. You may need to repeat several times. The Windex works much better than cleanings alone when it comes to breaking down dried ink.
Never, never, never put paint thinner in an inkjet printer. Inkjet ink doesn't require a solvent that strong, and you could do some serious damage to your printer.
