Clogged Double Sink?
Well it's 7:40 AM EST at the moment, and hopefully you've resolved the problem, but the likely location of the clog is in the main drain "P" trap under one of the sinks. Removal isn't a huge job, but could take a lock jaw pliers, and possibly some new compression washers to re-install. If the P trap is clean and the clogging continues, then it may be closer to any cleanout plug.

The usual house plumbing for a sink drain is in the 2 inch diameter range, suitable for taking away water, and even small food particles, but can acquire build ups over time from the bacon grease dumped down the drain, etc. and that will attach other things too it, much like the bodies arteries collect plaque.

I'm not a fan of chemicals at all, but the P trap effort is the first place to start.

Just my two "sense"
Reply:use two plungers. one on each side. if you only have one you need to plug up one side or the pressure will come out the drain and not down the pipe. be sure to hold the plug down tight. it might shoot water straight up. good luck
Reply:First locate which side has the main drain attched to it. plug the other side's drain the plunge the main one. When both sides are backed up that means your clog is below the juction of the two sinks. also try removing the P trap and cleaning it out. Just amke sure you have a bucket under there.
