Clog Dancing???

Wondering if anyone knows how to find a list of dance studios that teach clog dancing and compete? Preferably in the southeastern part of the united states.

Clog Dancing???
Google it. I live up in the Pacific Northwest, so I don't know what your area very well.

To one of the previous answerers: I'm so sick of ballet supremacy. One of my best friends is a clogger, and even as an Irish dancer (one of the parents of clogging), when she tried to teach me a few bits of clogging, I gained tremendous respect for her. I'm sick and tired of people thinking that ballet is the beginning and the end of good dancing, and that it's the hardest style of dance out there. It's not the hardest. I've tried it, and I'm not going to call it "easy" but it's just as hard as Irish (the only style I can compare it to). So shut up. I know that it takes 15+ years or so to usually develop a good ballet dancer. Guess how long it takes an Irish dancer? About 15+ years. How about a clogger? My friend, who is with a nationally ranked team, is 14, almost fifteen, and she's the youngest person to make this team--ever. So shut it, okay? It's hardcore stuff.

(Just had to rant about it, sorry)

Go for it. What it did learn of it from my friend is awesome fun! And it's a good workout too! :-)
Reply:I'm guessing you're talking about clogging... I don't know of any studios there, but if you search on yahoo for a specific city and type of place it should give you a list of them.
Reply:go to www.clogdancing.com and look under the directory. It'll show you teams in your area!
Reply:i know of a place called Twinkle Toes Dance Academy in Alabama that teaches it. they have won a lot of gold medals at clogging competitions too.
