"Clogged" feeling or tightness in my chest.?

I've suffered from hay fever allergies my whole life. During my allergy season, I've caught bronchitis twice, and get numerous sinus infections. But this is something new. Lately, after I come inside, and early in the mornings I have been feeling a tightness in my chest. It feels, to me, like its clogged, really. Since it's usually after I come in from outside, when my allergies are acting up I assume it has something to do with allergies. Asthma does run in my family, but I didn't think you could develop it?

Go to the doctor sounds like you have asthma. They can listen to your lungs and do a x-ray.
Reply:You can develop asthma at any time in your life, and since it already runs in your family, I would STRONGLY encourage you to go to a doctor and tell him/her about this new symptom you're experiencing (additionally because it could be a lung infection of some sort as well -- though, keep in mind that it could just as easily be nothing serious, so don't panic or anything!). Please make an appointment as soon as possible just to be on the safe side. You should never monkey around when it comes to your lungs -- you need those!

Good luck and take care.
Reply:Very hard to diagnosis respiratory problems with out examining you and listening to your lungs. So my advise to you would be to go see your doctor.
Reply:I have two suggestions, first you should get a x-ray of your lungs, second thing to do is to get a EKG, sometimes other parts of the body send warnings that do not relate directly to where you feel the pain.
